About the event
Drop-in session to support anyone interested in developing or sustaining a regular mindfulness meditation practice.
This opportunity is open to anyone interested in practicing Mindfulness. Inspired by the principles of MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction), each session includes guided mindfulness meditation practice and brief sharing on practice related experiences.
Good to know
- Prepare your space before the session. Choose a quiet spot where you won’t be interrupted. Depending on the practice, you could choose to lie down, seat on a cushion, or on a chair for example. Make sure you have what you need close to you to be comfortable and keep warm during the practice.
- You will need a computer, smartphone or tablet to have access to Zoom, which can be downloaded for free.
- You don't have to if you prefer not to, but you are invited to keep your camera on during thes sessions to create a feeling of trust and support in the community, as well as the teacher being able to see and support everyone.
